Quesnel's President Steps Down

Some more big changes up in Quesnel. They've posted the big news on their website:
"The Quesnel Regency Millionaires announce that after 4 seasons, Randy England has announced that he is resigning from his position as President/Governor, citing the need for an increased amount of work commitment. This change is effective immediately. His hard work, long hours and heavy commitment to the organization will not go unnoticed. Randy does plan on remaining with the organization as Past president and in an advisory role. Replacing Randy as President/Governor, effective immediately will be long time Quesnel resident and Millionaires supporter, Bob Sales. The Quesnel Regency Millionaires would like to thank Randy for his tenure as President/Governor and look forward to working with him in an extensive role over the years to come."
It's my understanding that Bob Sales is in fact the brother of BCHL Executive Director David Sales. Hopefully he will be able to help the Mills get on track on and off the ice. There's been lots of talk about a sale to private ownership up there, but in my interview with a member of their board it sounded like that is still a ways away. I also haven't heard anything new on them getting the second half of the funding needed for the new barn up there. Quesnel has had their President and Coach/GM both resign in the last month. Lets cross our fingers that this is just a positive new beginning for the Mills and not a sign of turmoil.
