11th in Canada

The Smoke Eaters moved up four slots in the CJAHL Top 15. The list is as of October 18th so it would take Trail's 4-3 overtime win over Penticton into account. Here's the link:

Speaking of rankings, you can head over to Ryan Pinder's veesblog to check out his weekly radio show. On it he discusses Friday's Smokies/Vees game as well as announces his updated Interior Conference power rankings. This week the Smokies fell a spot to second place with the red hot Salmon Arm Silverbacks moving into top spot. Trail didn't really do anything to lose their top spot, but as I've said before it is nearly impossible to make serious distinctions between all the top teams in the conference. Any of them could end up from first to sixth before the end of the season.
