I had the chance to catch up with former Smokies Coach Bruno Campese this week. He signed a contract extension that will take him through the 2011-2012 season as the Coach and GM for Prince Albert in the WHL. I thought it was a very informative chat with the Nelson native. We discussed the Raiders job as well as how it relates to his past in the BCHL with Trail and Penticton. I've had the opportunity to interview Bruno a couple of times now and it's always a pleasure.
